Beginning January 2007, HIPAA requires dentists to use CDT-2007 (CDT-7) codes to represent specific dental procedures. Specifically, HIPAA requires that all electronic claim submissions be CDT-7 compliant as of January 1, 2007. You may have questions as to how this CDT-7 update will affect you and your practice.
